About St. Mary's
St. Mary's was founded under the big mango tree pictured above. This is where its first students would receive their education, but through the years it has evolved to become a school that tries its hardest to provide what education it can for its 480 plus students. The school lacks classroom space, dormitories, school supplies, teaching staff and doesn't have running water, though electric lights were installed earlier this year. Only around 50% of students can afford to pay school fees.
With the help of volunteers and donors, we hope to give St. Mary's the resources it needs to strive.
